This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood. We have less than 7 weeks left! That is until our due date. Hopefully we won't go too much past that. There hasn't really been a lot changed since the last post. The baby is playing a lot more. I can talk to her and push and she will push back. She moves all the time it seems like. That can't be too comfortable for Kristen. I like it though!
I am so excited for the baby I am sure you all are getting tired of hearing that. I am so amazed at the whole process and the thought that I am going to be a father in a couple months! It is a crazy thought but I am so thrilled it is happening.
